Features of Line Array Speakers-Audio Common Sense.Concert audio

A line array speaker is a group of radiating units that are arranged in a straight line up and down and spaced as closely as possible, and have the same amplitude and phase. Due to the same phase, the speakers are in close contact with each other. A set of line arrays can be regarded as a whole speaker. In performances or long-distance sound reinforcement in large spaces, the number of listeners is often tens of thousands or more than tens of thousands. The power of the current pair of speakers is far from the power required for listening. Therefore, in such a sound reinforcement place, several pairs or more speakers were often used to form a speaker wall, which is called a speaker matrix. But such a matrix, because of the phase problem. Some frequencies in the speakers interfere. Seriously affect the restoration of the sound. Therefore, the line array speaker was born.

The difference between professional line array audio and ordinary audio is that the radiation angle is different, which can maintain a narrow vertical directivity in a wide frequency band. It is generally used in places where the venue is relatively large, so that the listening effect of the audience in the back row is the same as that in the front row.
