The correct adjustment method is:

If the input channel is connected to a microphone signal, turn the gain knob, and when the microphone is about to produce howling, then turn it back a little in the direction of low level, which is the appropriate position. Never change the volume by adjusting the input gain. The overload distortion or signal-to-noise ratio caused by this will not be compensated by the post-stage. To change the signal strength of this channel, that is, the volume, the fader of this channel should be adjusted at ordinary times.
