Classification of professional speakers - based on the structure of the speakers

1) Enclosed professional speaker. The box of a closed speaker is completely sealed. It completely seals the sound waves on the back of the speaker inside the box, completely isolating it from the front of the speaker. The smoothness of the air inside the box is smaller than that of the speaker itself, and its function is equivalent to an elastic air cushion. Therefore, a closed professional speaker is also known as an air cushion speaker. A well-designed closed professional speaker can achieve good playback characteristics in the low frequency range and good bass analysis, Closed professional speakers have a simple structure and large volume, making them popular in countries such as Europe and America.

(2) Inverted professional speaker. Inverted speakers are currently the mainstream of speakers both domestically and internationally, characterized by higher low-frequency efficiency, lower frequency lower limit, stronger sense of force, and relatively smaller box size. However, the design is more complex than enclosed speakers. Its panel has 1-2 guide tube holes, which can invert a certain frequency band of sound radiation from the back of the speaker and emit it from the guide tube hole to increase the low-frequency sound power emitted by the speaker, In an ideal state, the lower limit of the low-frequency playback frequency can be 20% lower than the resonance frequency of the speaker. Due to the strict structural design requirements of the inverted professional speaker, there are not many products with excellent performance.
