PSM12 is designed to be used in applications that require high commercial power and is meticulous and compact. It is as innovative as the RM18, but its size is greatly reduced. It uses a special 4" voice coil and a 12" driver that can provide maximum low-frequency power, as well as a 1.4" compression driver for high frequencies. Funktion-One's unique driver technology allows the crossover point of the compression driver to be set to the general frequency. The effect of this technology, especially when the sound pressure is high, makes the sound extremely natural and smooth. The high-frequency projection angle is 70° cone-shaped; the waveguide is installed in front of the 12" driver, and the sound is concentrated in one point. For point sound sources, such structural processing makes the coverage uniform and minimizes feedback whistling. PSM12 has a built-in passive frequency converter, and it can also be switched to external electronic crossover. In addition, it also has a built-in rod-mounted 35mm sleeve. The overall design of Funktion-One, regardless of the close cooperation of the driver, cabinet and waveguide components, makes PSM12 an outstanding return speaker.
