What is a Class G amplifier?

　　Class G can switch between two discrete supply voltages. The advantage is that it is normally low voltage, but switches to high voltage when the signal level requires it. The market application is the same as the H class. The disadvantage is the same as the H class is limited in use. The S class is very close to A and AB, mainly because the Wheatstone bridge is added in front. A-D is a common classification of Z, and it is divided according to the conduction angle of the transistor.

　　1. If it is full-cycle conduction, it belongs to class A (class A). The conduction angle of class A is large, the efficiency is low, but the distortion is small. The theoretical efficiency is less than 50%, and the actual efficiency is generally less than 30%.

　　2. If the conduction angle is above the half cycle and below the full cycle, it belongs to class AB (class A and class B), and the efficiency of class AB is higher than that of class A.

The efficiency of class B is higher than that of class A and AB, but lower than that of class C and D, and the distortion is slightly larger than the first two. The theoretical efficiency is 78.5%, but the actual efficiency is more than 50-60%.
