The disadvantage is that due to the different positions of the speakers, there is a difference in timbre and phase between the units, and the crossover network introduces new distortion to the system. The sound field, image resolution, separation, and layers are more easily affected, and the timbre may deviate. The more frequency divisions, the higher the manufacturing process requirements of speakers.
