After the wire is stripped, it must be tightened, preferably over tin, to prevent the wire from spreading and causing a short circuit.

　　Prepare an RCA socket, preferably with a single head. We choose the red one for output. On the back of the socket, the red, green and blue arrows correspond to the red plug, white plug and ground wire respectively. We connect the two wires of the digital CD cable to the pins pointed by the red and blue arrows. This connection method is very simple and rough. If there is no signal output, it may be that the 2 pin is plugged in the wrong direction. If there is still no sound, then the digital output of this optical drive may be fake.
