Following the success of the original Resolution 2 loudspeaker over the past two decades, the EVOX loudspeaker is a significant evolution of the full-range, full-horn-loaded cabinet concept. Using the latest waveguide technology developed by Funktion-one, EVOX provides wider sound field coverage and higher sound pressure level from a smaller and lighter box. Evo X's advanced driver technology delivers exceptional clarity, resolution and detail. Its 90° horizontal spread makes it an excellent choice for live venues, small clubs and theaters. It is capable of high sound pressure levels from relatively compact loudspeakers and can be deployed as a one or four-point system per side. While Evo X's horizontal dispersion provides even coverage over a wide area, its focused 15° vertical dispersion ensures sound is focused on the audience, minimizing reflections and room excitement. Utilizing the same equi-diffractive high-frequency waveguide technology as the Vero VX, the Evo X is designed for small to medium-sized live events and installations, finding an optimal audience area at approximately 10m x 10m. It can operate in the 50Hz-18kHz range and combines well with the Funktion-One F series and BR series woofers for added low frequency energy. The wide-bandwidth 8" midrange extends to 5kHz, minimizing stress on the 1" high-frequency driver, while the 15" mid-bass easily handles 50Hz-280Hz. Evo X has been carefully designed and engineered for high SPL and High efficiency, minimizing energy consumption and environmental impact.
