  Pull down the master output fader of the mixer, and play a CD with singing that I am very familiar with. Usually, I have subjectively learned the balance of high, medium and low frequency bands in the music through headphones, as well as the sound of music and singing. There is a subjective criterion for the balance ratio of the tune to be played back through a sound reinforcement system, or a sound test CD is played.

  1. Adjust the room balance of the main PA system: On the mixer, adjust the PAN on the left channel input channel of the CD record to the left. Adjust the PAN on the input channel of the right channel to the right, and adjust the gain knob Gain on the two channels to make the corresponding peak indicator light in a better state, and the corresponding channel fader is at the 2/3 position. Push up the left and right master faders of the mixer until the audio volume is sufficient for the auditorium. Then adjust the room balance, and divide it into four frequency bands: high, mid-high, mid-low, and low, and every two scale frequency points is a group. Make a subjective evaluation based on listening to increase the attenuation gain. It is better to start from the mid-high frequency point, and then go up or down to increase the attenuation gain at other scale frequency points, until the music heard in the audience is balanced in pitch, medium and low. The situation is more or less the same as what was originally heard with headphones. At this point, the distribution curve of the fader keys on the room equalizer is a qualitative compensation curve. In the subsequent tuning process, this adjustment cannot be changed arbitrarily.

  2. Auxiliary sound reinforcement system engineering room balance adjustment: first pull down the left and right master faders on the mixing console, turn off the main sound reinforcement, program the input sound signal into the group bus, and push up the group output master control on the mixer , until the music is clearly heard in the audience and the volume is moderate. Adjust the compensation according to the method of adjusting the room equalizer of the main sound reinforcement system, and obtain the room compensation curve of the auxiliary sound reinforcement system.

  3. Room balance adjustment of the return sound reinforcement system: the same as the debugging method of the main sound reinforcement system, but the adjustment of the playback volume is carried out on the auxiliary knob. The adjusted room balance compensation should not be changed arbitrarily in future sound reinforcement.
